About Us
History
Our story starts in late 2025 and early 2026 following a deep loss that gave birth to a new hope.
TERESA KIAYE DAUGHTERS OF HOPE (TEKIDOH) is a community-based empowerment initiative established to support vulnerable girls and young women through holistic vocational training, mentorship, life-skills development, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.
The organization was founded by the children of Teresa Kiaye and Apollo Kiaye, (in remembrance of their parents), devoted Christians and respected community members who dedicated much of their lives to church-supported community work, compassion, mentorship, and social support for vulnerable people.
Following their passing in December 2025 and February 2026 and their burial soon after, their children initiated and registered TEKIDOH, a community Based Organization (CBO) to continue their legacy of faith, service, empowerment and giving back to the community.
