A little bit about

What We Do

Our projects

Our organization is involved in numerous projects and activities that uplift vulnerable girls and young women.

At Tekidoh, we see to restore hope, dignity, confidence, and self-reliance among vulnerable girls and young women through holistic empowerment and vocational skills development.

Inspired by the lifelong community service, Christian values, and compassionate legacy of Teresa and Apollo Kiaye, the project aims to create sustainable transformation within the community by equipping vulnerable young women with practical skills, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and economic independence.

Skills Training

Our programs offer practical and actionable skills that our young women can use to seek and create employment opportunities both within and outside the community. Our goal is to develop students who can sustain themselves independently in the long term.

Women Empowerment

We regularly offer free check ups and diagnosis for issues particularly affecting young girls and women in the community. Our health drives have proven to be life-saving in some cases. Additionally, we counsel and offer therapy sessions to all our participants.

Environmental Protection

We have designed mentorship programs for our students in partnership with environmental agencies to encourage tree planting  and environmental conservation.

Leadership

Our programs are designed to encourage girls and young women to take up leadership roles right from school because we believe women leaders have a net positive effect on the society.
